OVERVIEW   WHAT ABOUT SIRI?

Arrow The VoiceBox Personal Assistant

VoiceBox pioneered the idea of a single voice interface to assist consumers getting what they need from their devices using their everyday language -- in the car, at home or on their cell phone.

The International Academy of Science summed up the VoiceBox advantage:

"VoiceBox doesn't just listen, it understands..."

Our capabilities were developed with the characteristics we all appreciate in a good, real-life personal assistant:

  • understands you easily and even anticipate what you need
  • knows you well enough to get what you want in the way that you want it
  • is always there when you need them

As the Company built to that vision, we have received many patents for its innovations (see Patents). They center around our ability to understand context to determine user intent, our use of advanced personalization in understanding queries and in the response/output, and also our ability to deliver messages/advertising relevant to the conversation.

Apple's Siri has validated user acceptance of the personal assistant model

VoiceBox's capabilities can create a radically different user experience. And technology improvements (e.g., more powerful devices, network server infrastructure) have greatly increased our ability to leverage the more advanced aspects of our technology. But until recently, it was a fair question to ask whether consumers were 'ready' for this change.

VoiceBox was happy to see Apple make a bold step with Siri. It has unquestionably validated consumers' and the industry's acceptance of the Personal Assistant voice interface model.
